SPONSORED: 5 Holiday Activities to Explore at Winter Fest

Presented by:

Locals can celebrate the season Trojan-style at UA Little Rock’s second annual Winter Fest, now a campus tradition filled with holiday cheer, family fun and community spirit on Tuesday, Nov. 17, from 5-7:30 p.m.

As one of the first holiday events of the season, the inaugural Winter Fest in 2025 satisfied the need for a “safe, vibrant place” to kick off the holiday season where “there’s truly something for everyone,” says Emily Cox, vice chancellor for university affairs.

“We want our students, faculty and staff to enjoy, but it’s also a showcase of the university to the community,” she says.

The visual splendor provides an ideal background for photos — including the popular light arch — and several individuals expressed to Cox that last year’s event was the most beautiful they’d ever seen campus.

As this year’s evening of free festivities approaches, here’s what to look forward to.
